Keeping with the We the love the Globe when it Mails theme, I got a prompt response from a rep from the Globe and Mail's web support team in regards to my recent letter of complaint.

It's a little too dry for re-printing, but I should say that it was a good official response. The person who answered a) replied using my name b) told me that feedback would be passed on to their web site managment team c) explained the current policy and d) made no promises but did mention that they were also exploring other subscription options.
