Today the Windsor Star had two columns that left me gobsmacked. They aren't reasoned essays but provocational pieces that both follow the same pattern: little vingnettes that lead into far reaching conclusions such as "evolution is crap" or "higher education makes you stupid".

I've cancelled my subscription to the Windsor Star twice now over editorials that got under my skin. I'm not going to do that now as the paper is my main source of local news like this that moves me.
