It is obvious to all that I have been taking a "holiday" from this blog. What you may not know is what the rest of this "holiday" entailed: for more days that I intended, I have largely stopped reading books, paying attention to the news, or writing in my notebook. Instead, I acted like a normal person and spent my spare time being entertained by TV, videos and video games.

And instead of feeling refreshed, I now feel stupid and lazy.

So now I'm taking a thousand different steps in a thousand different directions in hopes that I can find my way back to something that I can care about and dedicate real effort.
