I am disappointed to learn that you have pulled the June edition of Harper’s Magazine because “it may be offensive to Muslims”.

You say on your website that “Indigo Books & Music Inc. is committed to being your most complete and trusted resource for books, music, gifts and much more”.

You have just have undermined that trust.

If you don’t believe readers – your customers – should have access to material that may offend them, perhaps you should exclusively sell candles.

On the other hand, I thank you for providing another reason why the world needs libraries.
