Last year I asked the world if there had ever been one instance in which a daughter had been named after her mother and could thus enjoy the honour of being called "Junior".

One kind reader responded that yes, she had been named after her mother. And I was relieved.

I have a similar gauntlet that I would like to throw down to the world: can you name me one instance in which a man has his wife's surname in marriage? Royalty are excluded from this challenge.

Thank you.
