I haven't been writing much here lately, but I have been thinking. Really. I swear. As proof I'm going to start posting some of my half-baked thoughts that have been rising in my mind (but are not really not ready for consumption)

One day there will be a university course dedicated to understanding The Columbine Massacre through film and literature

Even though this tragedy occurred on April 20, 1999, it has only been recently in which a body of work has emerged that have tried to make sense of the event culturally. I present the following evidence:

novels:
  • Vernon God Little: A 21st Century Comedy in the Presence of Death
  • We need to talk about Kevin
  • Hey Nostradamus! : A Novel

    movies
  • Bowling for Columbine
  • Elephant
  • Zero Day
